A Southern California native, Dr. Rebecca Skaret was born in Los Angeles and grew up in San Diego. She attended the University of Southern California and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Health Promotion and Disease Prevention. She moved to Miami, Florida for medical school at the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine, where she met her future husband. She completed her residency at Inova Fairfax Hospital in Northern Virginia. After moving around the country, Dr. Skaret is thrilled to be back in San Diego.

As an Ob/Gyn, Dr. Skaret feels privileged to have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with patients and follow them from adolescence through menopause. She enjoys all aspects of the specialty, with particular interest in contraception management, routine and high-risk obstetrics, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Dr. Skaret strives to be an advocate for women and to provide patient-centered and evidence-based care with compassion.

In her free time, Dr. Skaret enjoys trying out new restaurants, going to concerts, breaking a sweat at Orange Theory, and spending time with her husband, Siamese cat (Whiskey), and French bulldog (Peaches).
